Afghanistan International Bank (AIB) is a leading commercial bank in Afghanistan. It was founded on March 4, 2004 with the support of the Asian Development Bank. AIB’s objective is to assist in developing the Afghan economy and to conduct business in accordance with international governance standards. AIB has 31 branches (three planned to open in 2013, giving it presence in all main business centers of the country.
